Resin Test Sale May 2022

HELLO EVERYBODY. In advance of opening an actual resin jewelry shop (and because I need a quick buck rn), I'm doing a quick informal test sale of some finished UV resin pieces to figure out what people like and how much they think it's worth, especially as custom commissions. I've got a toplevel for feedback below so even if you can't buy anything rn letting me know you have interest would help a lot!

All prices are USD and include shipping in the US/CN. I take payment through paypal, just comment below with which one you want and I'll contact you to work out payment. I'll have to calculate shipping costs for anywhere else. I can swap the specific keychain bits if you want a different one than pictured: black phone strap cord, classic round keychain, star clip, or heart clip.

A, B, C: $15
Galaxy potion bottles w/ silver holo glitters, silver stars, and a dusting of glow powder. Minor defects on the back.
A: black, moon on right
B: black, moon on left SOLD

D, E, F: $20
Pastel galaxy charms with holo glitter and silver holo stickers inside. Curved backs and no frames.
D: Birds on a wire
E: Fish + coral w/mini pearls, iridescent flakes, & gold seashell + starfish minicharms
F: Bird cages w/3D metallic rose


G, H: $25
G: Pastel galaxy w/ silver holo pegasus + stars, silver moon, and pink iridescent flakes on the back
H: Blue+Violet gradient w/ tiny metal gears and a silver holo clock face on the back ON HOLD


I, J: $25
I: Sunset w/ silhouette of cats on a ledge. The sunset is thermal pigment, so by default it looks like the first pic, but when warm it changes to a more dramatic gradient like in the second. SOLD
J: Teal w/iridescent flakes, silver holo deer + stars on the front, & dried flowers on the backSOLD

CLEO THESE ARE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm super interested in H with the gears but also [Mexico]. I think purchase might depend on how much it ends up being? It'd have to be with tracking if at all possible, though, because stuff has gotten lost before. :( (ALSO IF THIS IS TOO MUCH HASSLE AND SOMEONE ELSE IS INTERESTED FEEL FREE TO GIVE IT TO THEM INSTEAD obvs!!)

According to online calculators with tracking it looks like it'd be $15USD in shipping... I know it USED TO BE more like $5 so I might go ask the post office when I can at least??? THAT FEELS LIKE A LOT FOR A 20GRAM BUBBLE MAILER..

i don't have the money to purchase anything right now, but i wanted to 1) say that these are pretty as all get out and if i had the money, i would absolutely wanna snap one of these up and 2) these seem to be pretty fair prices and are equitable to other artists i've purchased resin pendants and the like from. so, you are doing great work all around!

i am not sure what to recommend around the commission price because i think it would somewhat depend on what you're planning to do for commissions. like, if you were planning on doing something where you have a set of things for people to choose from that they can mix and match, you could set a standard price just like this. but if you're opening it up more to people describing what they want and you go from there, i'd say using these as a base price + whatever is going to compensate for resources (i.e., time and materials) would be a fair system. you could potentially also have some standardization pricing for the extras, too, that you can either keep to yourself privately or share when advertising commissions. i think either system would be fair and i'd be open to as a consumer!

regardless, i'm definitely going to keep my eyes peeled for the next time ya sellin' stuff and hopefully i'll have some money. 🤙🏻

I FORGOT I HADN'T COME BACK TO THIS

I asked at the post office and they said yes the $15 USD shipping is correct, so siiince my prices included the $5 it takes to ship domestically, it'd be stated price + $10USD. There would be no additional shipping fees for a package with up to 3 of them. For now or in the future!
